Just a simple question on the Queue Table (Persistent)

We are setting up an downstream archived re-do log streams process-

Capture and apply processes are running in the downstream database, the capture and the apply processes are using the same queue and the apply process is using a user defined DML apply handler.

All of the setup is working fine and the only issue we are noticing is that the Streams Queue table is growing.

For the capture process the checkpoint retention is 1 day.

How is the data from the Queue table cleaned up, is there any additional setup required to clean up the data?

Please let me know if you need any additional details regarding the setup.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Hi All,

FYI....

We are able to track down the issue related to QMON, Please refer to the attached link below - "PROCESSED Messages not being removed"

Link - https://blogs.oracle.com/db/entry/oracle_support_master_note_for_aq_queue_monitor_process_qmon_doc_id_3056621
