I can't login on linux with oracle user [message #676323]

After installing oracle 12cR2 I can't login on Linux with oracle user only with root.

Did you have a similar problem?

I use Oracle Linux 7.6

I don't find "can't logon' in any of my error references.
Could you help someone with no more information than that? Well, neither can anyone else.

When I start VM I get lock screen, and I can't login with oracle user only with root.
But in terminal I can login as oracle user.

Also, you need to explain what 'lock screen' is.

When I start virtual machine, I get login form as on image,
and I can't login as oracle user only as root.
When I log on as root, I can login as oracle user in terminal.

I hope it is better explained.

I solve this problem after system update.

# yum update

Now works good, but I'm not satisfied with new interface with this update.

No, when you start a vm, you get a virtual console. And since you refuse to share critical details, like what vm product you are using and what OS the guest VM is running, and (if the guest os is linux, what run level it is set for) we have no way of knowing what is on that console, whether it be a GUI desktop or a command line console.

I don't know what the problem was. solution was system update, as I mentioned before
