Hello,

since a year I use SQL Developer V 17.2 to connect to my database without any problems.

A few weeks ago, I updated the Developer to V 19.2.1

I created a connection with the same informations (basic connection, user, password, host, port & servicename) as in 17.2 and check the checkbox
"Save Password", but everytime I reconnect to the database, there is a dialog to enter the password.

Do you know the problem?

Thanks for help

Which Java version do you have? Perhaps you should upgrade it to (as thatJeffSmith says) Java 8 u151 or higher.
