Hi expertise,

I have a three-tier system which is using oracle7.3.4 on the unix. My problem is my listener is not stable. The wierd thing happen when my listener down and it up by itself. When i do "ps -ef|grep inherit" continuesly, i can see more than one listener up at one time but not long lasting, normally one listener will remain. During that time my application will show error "database is not on".Please advice.
