I'm working in Oracle 8.0.5. i want to ask whether Oracle 8.0.5 can Create Partition or not.
if yes i would like to ask the how to use it or syntax for CREATE PARTITION command.
My table space size is 500 MB and Used space is 150 MB.

One can create partitions using Oracle 8.0.5 if the Partitioning Option is installed (look at the banner when logging-in to sqlplus command line).

Search the manuals for examples. You can do it on-line from the Oracle FAQ's Advance Search Page at http://www.orafaq.net/supsearc.htm.

Best regards.
