I have just finished installing 9iR2 on SuSe 8.1

after reboot - apache is not started ...
in logs:
Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/tmp/apache/logs/mm.975") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to open memory file (No such file or directory): OS:
No such file or directory

why?

Hi,

> Ouch! ap_mm_create (1048576, "/tmp/apache/logs/mm.975") failed

This error can occur because the kernel semaphore limit is exceeded on your system. Try the following to fix...

Increase (or set) the value for "kernel.sem" in your /etc/sysctl.conf file and reboot.

Best regards.
