hi,
while installing oracle9i in redhat linux 8 ,i run ./root.sh where i asked to specify local bin directory there i gave /usr/bin/ after this itz gave following error msg:

Error Msg;
> /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.54865: line 1: /lib/nsr/poin.cln: No such file or
directory
wat i hav to do now? plz help me
to solve the error.

That library was probably installed in /usr/lib. However, the script wants it in /lib. So, a quick fix would be:

$ ln -s /usr/lib/nsr /lib/nsr
