Hello Folks,
I'm new to Linux.
How can I make the editor vi my defaut editor while working on a shell window.
Thanks for any help

"vi" is already the default editor. Just type in "vi" and use it Smile

PS: If you want to make vi the default editor for SQL*Plus:

SQL> DEFINE _EDITOR=vi

and/or
EDITOR=vi
export EDITOR
